We run regular excursions to some of the most beautiful spots on the island. Take a look at some of these descriptions and wet your appetite. South Shore
Kayak Mokes
North Shore
Circle Island
West Side

South Shore - $15
On your way to the well known Holana Blowhole (a dormant volcanic lava tube that spouts seawater), you will visit a few different types of beaches. Waimanalo Beach Park is a mellow, romantic place to swim with lots of room to sunbathe. The next, Sandy Beach, is the neckbreaking shorebreak beach that is a good challenge for experienced (or bold) boogie-boarders. It's a popular surf spot with the locals.

After a hike to Makapu'u Point (great view when the whales pass), and a fat hawaiian plate lunch at Keneke's (no host), you might just watch the boogie-boarders while you sunbathe or check out the tidepools at Sandy's. Point Break surf shop and the Magnum P.I. house are also on the way as you go around the south side of Oahu.

If you haven't seen a heiau (ancient hawaiian stone temple), then you will see three on this excursion.

Kayak the Mokes - $20
Start at Buzz's (President Clinton ate there), and get ready for, what can sometimes be, 5 foot swells (2.5 Hawaiian). This is a comfortable kayak trip across beautiful Kailua Bay to the popular yet remote Moku Lua Islands. Bring your lunch to the island and snorkel, swim, sunbathe, and eat. Spears will be provided for those who are interested in spearfishing.

A memorable experience for those who want to see the beautiful windward side of Oahu.

North Shore - $15
Go to the original tourist town of the home of North Shore. Haleiwa has many interesting gifts to remember Hawaii by; conch shells, cowry shell wind chimes, beautiful batik sarongs. Or skip the shopping and go with your guide to the surf museum and pay respect to the legends that reside on the North Shore in spirit.

When you are ready to take on the big wave beaches, you can start by jumping off Jumping Rock in Waimea Bay, a popular beach made famous by the Beach Boys song.

You can watch the pros practice on Bonzai Pipeline or Sunset Beach. Stop at beautiful Shark's Cove where the scene gets lovelier when you snorkel the old rock quarry. You will eat (no host) nearby at Pupukea Beach Park (one of the few Starbucks on the island is near as well as a great Hawaiian Plate lunch stand).

Circle Island - $15
Drive through the Dole and Del Monte pineapple fields towards the North Shore. See the largest heiau (ancient Hawaiian stone temple) on Oahu, Puu O' Mahuka. It overlooks beautiful Waimea Bay, where the river runs into the ocean.

Stop by the fruitstands along the North Shore to get the most delicious pineapple you will ever taste as well as young coconut chilled and opened for you, served with a straw. You will go then, to the Eastside to have lunch at L&L drive-in (no host).

See Laie Point, a popular place to fish from land and big fish diving ( pros only ). See Kahana Bay & Valley, and continue down the East side to Makapuu Head, where you come around to the south shore. When the day is ending, we will go to a secret spot on China Walls to watch the sun set.

West Side - $12
This is a great chance to see the oldest heiau (ancient stone Hawaiian temple ) set into a lush tropical valley in the otherwise dry leeward side of Oahu. It is restored to give you a clear picture of what it looked like (less the sacrifices!) in its time.

Back to the beaches, you will go to Yolkahama Bay where the beach seems to never end. No hotels or neighborhoods, only an immense mountain range behind you. South of there, you will go to Makaha Beach, the best place to see homestyle surfers, outrigger canoes, tandem surfers, boogie-boarders and skimboarders.

Before we go to Makaha, however, we will stop by Ka ena Cave, believed to be the source of Hawaiians and home of Nanue, the half shark, half man God. There will be plenty of chances to surf, boogie-board, swim and snorkel on this excursion . Get a real hawaiian plate lunch (no host) at Makaha Drive-in.
